Vision: MMAC was created to promote a keen appreciation of the incredible diversity of the Canadian consumer market and to help marketers reach these consumers with culturally sensitive, culturally relevant communications. MMAC’s mandate is to set the standards for quality multicultural advertising, to establish marketing best practices and to increase understanding of the discipline of multicultural marketing to a diverse Canadian public among Canadian advertisers and marketers. Appreciate: increase understanding of the value of multicultural marketing among marketers
Elevate: build and continue to raise the standards of marketing, advertising and other professional services in the industry and promote the reputability of the discipline
Advocate: provide a forum for industry advocacy and evangelize for its growth
Educate: create and improve awareness of the category as a discipline and of its needs
